JuniOrganic is a local company that produces organic meals especially for children. This delicious range of meals has been designed to be exciting and to appeal to young children including those with special dietary requirements. The dishes are hand prepared using only the best fresh ingredients, without any added salt or sugar and as they are organic, they are free from additives and preservatives. We have a mid morning snack during the first session of the day. The snack consists of a variety of fresh fruit which the children are encouraged to choose for themselves. The children are each given a placemat- different everyday, which is a number, a letter, a shape a colour (depending on their age and ability), and are each encouraged to discuss their mat. We find this is an effective way of getting the children to build confidence in their vocabulary whilst improving their social skills. We also have a drink at this time which again is the choice of the children. They are offered water, juice or fresh milk. The meals are chargeable at just £2.75 per meal and the snack is included in the cost of the fees. When your child arrives in the morning, they make a choice from the menu and let a member of staff know. You are of course welcome to provide a packed lunch if you prefer which will be kept in the fridge until needed.
