Fees

We pride ourselves on being able to charge slightly differently from other nurseries. We have a flexible hourly charging policy, as well as a sessional charging policy. These combine to give you a more versatile childcare solution.

Our sessional charge is £23.00 for children aged 2 - 5 and £25 for children 3 months - 2 years. You can decide whether you would like either one or two sessions each day. Should you need childcare for a couple of hours beyond the session, we can add on top up hours at just £5.00 per hour. Our morning session runs from 8am to 1pm and our afternoon session from 1 pm to 6pm.

If you require childcare for a 2 year old from 9am to 2pm, this is covered by a morning session and one top up hour. This costs you just £28.00 whereas other nurseries would charge for two sessions that you just don't need. We will invoice you monthly in advance; you simply let us know the sessions and additional top up hours you are going to require every month. This allows you to adapt childcare as suits you best. We do ask for a four week notice period for holidays or other time off. If your child is sick the session you have booked is still chargeable.

We are sure you will see the benefit in avoiding high session costs and enjoy the flexibility we can offer you in the times you drop off and collect your children. We do ask for a deposit of £150.00. This is held until your final invoice, from which it is deducted. This deposit ensures your child's place from month to month.

Nursery funded education

Sticky Mits is registered for grant funded nursery education for those children aged between 3 and 5 years. The grant can be claimed from the start of the term following your child's third birthday. This funding is provided by Hampshire County Council who set the criteria; as soon as your child is eligible we will let you know. At the moment the grant covers five sessions at 2.5 hours per session, but this will soon change to a much more flexible 15 hours per week. Any changes to these arrangements will be displayed on the parent's notice board at nursery. For more information, please ask the nursery manager. Any time your child attends in addition to the nursery funded sessions will be charged at the standard top up charge of £5.00 per hour.

Funding schemes

Many work places are registered with one or other of the child care voucher schemes available. Sticky Mits is enrolled with a number of them and if your work place offers it as a benefit to you, we are happy to accept payment in this way. Ask the Nursery manager about the schemes we currently support, if you are with a scheme we are not yet registered with just let the Nursery manager know the details and we will be happy to sign up.
